The grand opening of the Shipbuilders' Square took place in Navashin

The public space, opened in 2019, became the winner of the All-Russian competition "Small Towns and Historical Settlements", which is held by the Ministry of Construction of Russia as part of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".

"Navashin's calling card is shipbuilding. And the archetype of the ship is taken as the basis of the concept of landscaping. The square itself is designed in the shape of a ship, and this image is also used in the creation of playgrounds, pavilions. The space turned out to be interesting, functional and has already become one of the favorite vacation spots of local residents," said Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The Governor noted that the project to create a comfortable urban environment is of great importance for the region. According to him, it allows us to qualitatively change the approach to landscaping and the creation of new public spaces. The key goal of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment", which was approved by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, is to increase the comfort of the urban environment, create a mechanism for direct participation of citizens in landscaping.

As part of this project, the "ArchiMet" produced:
  • Seamless conical supports with light fixtures V.55 and V.64 - 58pcs.
